We had a great family dinner at Gwalia sweets and restaurant on Ellesmere street in Scarborough. The veg Hakka noodles were amazing, with just the right amount of spices, and my kids absolutely loved the Oreo chocolate shakes. The lemonade, Samosa chaat, Veg Gravy Manchurian, and Garlic Naans were also very good. The Paneer Lababdar tasted more like Kadhai Paneer, and the Manchurian gravy was a little too less. The garlic naans were delicious but had a bit too much ghee for our liking.

The portions were decent, and our total bill was around $115 for a family of four, which felt reasonable for the variety of dishes we ordered. Overall, a great place for dine-in if you ant craving for Indian vegetarian food. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Clean, super friendly and quick service.  Gwalia Sweets is a great addition to Toronto and we thoroughly enjoyed the Sitafal Basundi, Mango Lassi, Dosa’s and Sabudana Khichdi.  The variety of food was very good and several items I have had trouble finding in Toronto till now.

Amazing and very quick service, darsh bhai is a very nice person and got us our meal done before sunset as we dont eat after sunset. Highly recommended!
